Comenius week in Finland

Do you recognise some of the people in the photo? You could try the game Wally's searching to identify the members of our Spanish team. Paula, Tamara and Antonio together with the teachers  Manuel and Juan enjoyed the Finnish experience last week.

As you can see the weather was good and they could see the sun for a long period of time. Did you know that in Finland at this time of the year there is no sunset? Ask your friends about it.

COMENIUS on the way to Finland

The Spanish team ( Manuel and Juan Ángel together with Tamara, Antonio and Paula) will be visiting Raahe from 2nd to 10th may. We wish they have great time in Finland and learn a lot.

Comenius week in Germany

Last sunday 25th our students Paula, Natalia, María and Isabel together with their teachers came back from a great experience in Hannover. Again our colleagues from Finland, France, Italy, Czech Republic met at the Gymnasium Goethe-Schule in Germany where we were received a warm welcome. Thanks to the organizers and the whole school for their job.

COMENIUS visit to Hannover

We start the year 2015 with the next visit of the project Sciences and Arts. Next week from 18th to 25th January, four students and two teachers of our school will be visiting the GymnasiumGoetheschule Hannover .

During the present week we'll be revising the presentation of our school in the German one. Thus, girls, be ready for that!

Back from our Comenius visit to France

Here we are again at school a bit tired but full of the positive energy after such an experience. We have just spent a week in Pau where we have worked together in the project finding links between the worlds of Sciences and Arts, made friends, visited new places and even enjoyed a "rafting time" experience where you had great fun.

The work at school and the activities outside took from 6th to 11th october. We left our place on Sunday 5th and arrived at Sevilla airport on 12th at 21:00.

We give thanks again to the group of teachers at the Lycèe Barthou who did great job with the activities and to the host families for their hospitality.

A week to the Comenius meeting!!

Just a week to receive our guests at school and at home. From monday to thursday we're having our last meetings to get everything ready. The last scheduling is the following:

Comenius project 2nd visit: Memories from Italy

Comenius Project: Back to Sevilla from Istituto I. Giacomo Perlasca

This is the Comenius group at the entrance of the school in Idro-Vobarno on 10th february 2014. It was a rainy day but we took advantage of all the presentations and activities teachers and students had prepared in the morning. A higher quality photo of the group as well as lots of more pictures and videos of the visit will be uploaded in next entries.

El próximo martes día 25 a las 18:00 horas están convocados padres/madres y alumnado participante en el proyecto pues tenemos un gran reto en nuestro instituto el mes de mayo entrante. Las actividades, tareas y visitas organizadas en el Gymnazium Ràjec- Jestrebi de República Checa el pasado mes de noviembre y las del Istituto I. Giacomo Perlasca en Italia han sido de tal calidad que requiere un gran esfuerzo por nuestra parte para abordar el tema del proyecto: Ciencias y Arte: mejorando el vínculo en el contexto de nuestro país, región, localidad y poner el nombre de nuestro centro en Europa.

Travelling to Italy: second visit

Next Sunday eight students from 1º Bachillerato together with Antonia Montes and me are travelling to the Istituto di Istruzione di Valle di Sabia: Idro-Vobarno in the north of Italy. We are going to spend a week there sharing the Comenius experience with students and teachers from Italy, Finnland, France, Czech Republic and Germany . Here you are a video presentation that Amparo, Alejandro, Esther, Alicia, Paola, Cristina and Mª Jesús have prepared for the visit.

A walking day around the city centre

The Comenius team travelling to Italy show you some of the landmarks of the historic city of Sevilla. Alejandro, Puri, Esther, Alicia, Amparo, Paola y Mª Jesús will become "cicerones" (guide-leaders) together with the resrt of the group lodging the European students next May and they are practising these days. Comenius week in Rájec-Jestrebi November 2013

Comenius project goes ahead and next February a group of students of 1º Bachillerato will be at Istituto di Istruzione Superiore Di Valle di Sabia in Italy. We are working on the tasks, getting things ready ...

1st visit Comenius: Czech Republic

From 3rd to 10th november Ms Antonia Montes and I visited the Gymnazium a Strední odborná skola RájecJestrebí in the Czech Republic. Here you are the official photo of the participants in the project.

We had the great chance to meet new people and share customs while working on the topic Sciences and Arts. We visited several schools of Arts and Crafts together with departments of the University of Physics in Brno. We could realise how many links there are between these two fields. The school has done great work!!

Now it's time for us to get things prepared for the next visit to Italy in February. Students are you ready to work and travel?

Proyecto Comenius "Sciences and Arts: Improving the link"

ASOCIACIÓN ESCOLAR MULTILATERAL COMENIUS

                                                           

El pasado mes de julio recibimos la buena noticia de la aprobación de un Proyecto Comenius Multilateral  para nuestro instituto a desarrollar entre el presente curso escolar 2013-14 y el siguiente 2014-15. Comunicamos a toda la comunidad educativa la fortuna de poder seguir participando de estas Asociaciones Escolares que  permiten a alumnado y profesorado tener  la oportunidad de trabajar juntos en  campos temáticos de interés mutuo. En esta ocasión será la relación entre ciencia y arte en los sistemas educativos de los países implicados el punto de partida desde el que potenciar la dimensión europea de la educación promoviendo actividades de cooperación entre centros educativos en Europa.

          Nuestro proyecto lleva por título “Sciences and Arts – Improving the link” y será desarrollado por seis escuelas de los siguientes países europeos:                                                                                                                   

·         Gymnázium a Střední odborná škola Rájec-Jestřebí. (República Checa).

·         Lycée Louis Barthou-Pau. Francia.

·         Saloisten koulu. Finlandia. 

·         Istituto di Istruzione Superiore di Valle Sabbia Giacomo Perlasca. (Lombardia) Italia.

·         Gymnasium Goetheschule Hannover.

·         IES San José de la Rinconada, San José de la Rinconada. España.

   Durante los dos años de duración del proyecto, se organizarán visitas de profesores y alumnos/as a cada escuela participante. El primer encuentro tendrá lugar en el Gymnázium a Střední de la República Checa con la participación de dos profesoras de nuestro centro entre el 3 y 10 de noviembre y allí se sentarán las bases de las actividades concretas referentes al proyecto.

   La edad propuesta para el alumnado participante es de 15/16 años, por lo que pensamos que 4º de ESO y, en su caso, 1º de Bachillerato son los niveles adecuados para desarrollar las distintas actividades previstas. Las visitas cuentan con la subvención concedida por la Agencia Comenius, por lo que el alumnado tiene cubiertos los gastos de desplazamiento. El alojamiento se realiza en familias, en régimen de intercambio. 

   El segundo encuentro tendrá lugar en el Istituto di Istruzione Superiore di Valle Sabbia, del  9 al 16 de febrero de 2014. 

   

   Los siguientes desplazamientos previstos tendrán lugar en mayo 2014 (IES San José de la Rinconada, España), octubre 2014 (Pau,Francia), febrero /marzo 2015 ( Hanover, Alemania) y abril/mayo 2015 (  Raahe near Oulu, Finlandia).
